Dear Avicii Fans,
Well it was a memorable new years for those who attended 99 Sudbury to see Avicii two nights ago. Not being there myself, as the tickets promised to me were “unavailable,” I am not too sure as to the true reason why the event was shut down. According to the tabloids, the top 3 reasons are: 1. the event got way too oversold and out of hand, 2. someone overdosed while in line and died, & 3. the rampant crowd trampled and killed someone during the frenzy of the lineup outside the bar. Whatever the true reason may be, a slew of fans were unable to see their swedish hero ring in the new year in an explosion of style and rage. Thankfully, the good folks over at Beta Nightclub in Waterloo have snagged Mr. Berg for a DJ set on January 13th, an event that is already 80% sold out. I can assure you that the same mistakes will not be made twice, as the management of Beta have assured that no additional tickets will be sold after the final one is purchased. If your 99 Sudbury blue balls are overwhelming you, I highly suggest buying your ticket NOW and let Beta rightfully tend to your new years scars.
